shelly & mitchell @ markdale

Had a lovely day at Markdale.com.au photographing Shelly and Mitchell's wedding ....an amazing place and sooo good to be in the country. Captured some great shots of the day and Shelly & Mitchell's bridal party were heaps of fun as you can see.

It certainly looked like they were going to have a ball at the reception!! I have never heard a crowd cheer soo loud as when the newly weds walked into the marquee...deafening!

Have fun overseas, you two!

Been meaning to do this for ages!!!!

Well, I went to Sydney with a few other photogs and we saw Marcus Bell at Darling Harbour...saw some lovely images of his (www.studioimpressions.com.au)... Always have my wonderful IXUS in my bag to take a few snaps and got a couple of crackers, whilst talking on the phone at the same time....multi-tasking is great!

New website is still coming...hopefully be live VERY soon!! Cannot wait as I haven't had a proper one since NYE 2007!!! JEEZ!!! Anyway, hope you like them...and I have added a few from some recent shoots I have done....all very gorgeous! :) Happy Easter!!!

I'm a semi finalist!!

I am sooo excited as one of my entries to the Australian Moran Art Photographic Prize is a semi-finalist. I have it here for you to look at...its my sone and I love the colour and the fact that you canmnot see hands or his head. Its called Bob at Work!

I am also very excited that my pal Vikky Wilkes www.vikkywilkes.com is a semifinalist with an image from her Tweens series...I haven't seen the rest of the series but she's going to be showing it to me today...can't wait!

Lastly, a young gun called Stuart Miller www.corevisuals.com.au has a self portrait in there also....yee haa I am so excited...

hwp-hard working professional!!

HWP I'm a "hard working professional"....Here I am looking for my blog to post something...goodness knows what but I typed in HWP into google and one of the entries on the 1st page is HWP---acronym for hard working professionals!!! that's me and I didnt even know it!!! Been surfing tonight...and have been inspired by all the amazing images out there in the world...Got a gorgeous couple, David & Isobel to photograph tomorrow at Poachers Pantry just outside Canberra....Hopefully the vineyard will be colourful in amongst the vines....Can't wait....

Frantically busy with portraits and the possibility of buying a new home...It has a studio that is enormous!!! It'd be sooo good...Will keep you posted..

first post and I am excited!

Well my new website will be up and out there really soon Its going to be amazing and I cannot wait...alll I have at the moment is one page with a link to another server with images on it...Its all be very stressful but the new website will be worth the wait... www.hwp.com.au

Saw my potential new home today, big studio space and much character...! White picket fence too...I hope I get it auction in two weeks time!
