Latest update

Have had a very strange day with some crazy vertigo happening...Dr says it may be a side effect of the general anaesthetic I had on Monday to remove appendix...Havent been able to lie down without feeling like the world was a spinning top!

Did have one happy bit of news as I have had lots of texts and calls from my lovely photographer friends who are in Brisbane for the AIPP Australian Photographic Print Awards. I have also been told that the image of Max and Ben seen here on my blog mid May has been awarded an 86 or a
Silver with Distinction!! I am really happy about that and hope Max and Ben will be too!

Anyway, must go an rest and here's hoping for a few more awards over the weekend!

Off Sick!! Emergency Appendectomy on weekend

Well here I am at my parent's house being looked after hand over foot. I have just had my appendix out and so now I am off work for a week or so!! To all those I photographed last week, thanks for being so patient and allowing me to get better before I see you again. For everyone else who is keen to use my services, you can email me and when I am upright ( about once a day for a limited time!!) I shall get some information back to you as soon as I can.

I am very disappointed as this weekened I was meant to be one of the judges at the AIPP Canon Annual Photographic print Awards being held in Brisbane. Its a wonderful time where a couple of 1000 photographers get together, talk shop and compete in the most prestigious professional awards in the country......and I can't be there........... :( Have fun everyone and have a glass of bubbly for me!!

Started today very actively chasing these two pumpkins around their back yard!
Have captured some lovely shots of them today to go along side the shots we did about a year ago...It was hilarious, I could hardly take any photos at one stage because I was laughing so much!

Had heaps of fun!

Back again! It is the Australian Institute of Professional Photography National Awards next week and I hoped that I could crack a cracker of a shot at Max and Ben's wedding...I love this one and really hope it does well at the Awards...The bar was a lovely place to shoot and the staff were sooo welcoming and offering if we wanted the lighting adjusted in the room...and it was WARM! :)

The weather was very unkind...howling winds on NO light to speak of but that didnt matter because my lovely friend Jennifer Nagy helped me with Max and Ben's wedding in Sydney and their photographs in China town...They were so lovely putting up with high winds and then the rain...and it was dark, loads of people but we have some great images of their wedding!...Here is a wee sample but I have loads more!

busy busy busy!!!

You know sometimes you aren't that busy and you can afford to meet up with friends for lunch or a cuppa during the week and it feels decadent...no such luck for me at the moment...am flat chat with many many portraits over the last couple of weeks...Its great! I'm not complaining I LOVE it!

You get to meet some new friends and some old ones with new additions...here is a couple of pics from the very lovely Rachel and Lindsay who now have 2 cuties Abbie and Jack..It was chaos but we got some lovely happy images....here's a few!
