Well its that time of year and in about 18 hours I shall have finished work for 2008! Its not that I don't love what I do ( I am almost obsessed with it!) but I am absolutely knackered after an amazingly eventful year. Sold my home, moved twice, built a studio (almost done!), renovating my new home, sold the old car and bought a new one, had my best and busiest year in the business ever, employed some wonderful people, succeeded in the national and local AIPP awards and made sure I spent every Sunday and Monday exclusively with my gorgeous 4 year old son, Henry doing stuff.
I am looking forward to another busy year, with plenty of new stuff happening....it'll be very exciting! So have a wonderful, happy safe Christmas and a great New Year! I shall be on leave probably until the end of the first week in 2009, see you then! (if you get lonely and need to talk to me pop it in an email, ta!

one hour in Queanbeyan 7pm-8pm
Actually went out tonight and did some photography for me, even though I have deadlines (!), it just had to be done! What a great thing to just look at the world without the constraints of business. Trying to find some images to submit for the annual Moran Art Prize. Contemporary life in Australia is its theme, so why go far afield when its so interesting outside your front door!

What a great day today at the handmade market, organised by Julie Nichols. I managed to raise $200 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and I know Julie has managed to raise much, much more! Great work Julie! We estimate that there were several thousand people came thru and I would like to thank all those lovely people that booked me to photograph your children! Can't wait!

Julia and Claude tied the know in style yesterday and in humour with Claude's vows bringing laughter and happy tears to many eyes!
It was great to see Bec and Jim again as its almost a year since we had a wonderful day at Bannisters in Mollymook at their wedding.
So since there are no more sister's in the family I guess I'll have to wait for the babies :)

lovely happy & emotional few days
Had the pleasure of photographing Tim and Heidi's very moving wedding. Very emotional and with loads of love. It was a privilege to be there and capture some touching moments.
Then there was the very delightful and wonderfully articulate 6 year old Sam and his mum and dad at their VERY funky home!
And today I followed Julia and Andrew around the gardens being very romantic for their engagement. Can't wait to capture that same emotion on your wedding day in March!
