Lovely and hot, so white worked best!! Little Cecilia is SUCH a character!!!

Back home safely, all be it jet-lagged!

We are home safe and sound and I feel for the Thai people and having to go through such problems. Lets hope that through diplomacy that their democracy will be more stable in the future....

Had a wonderful time apart from the political strife and will be posting a few images in the next day or so...

For me its back to work with loads of portraits and one or two weddings in the next few weeks...

Have a winter woolie portrait session organised...for May bookings and as always I will be having a stand at the Handmade Market with Julie and all the other wonderfully talented designers and craftspeople..May 23rd...

state of emergency in pattaya

Well here we are in Pattaya, Thailand and the Thai government has declared a state of emergency here because of the political demonstrations between the red shirts and the yellow shirts. Pattaya has basically been shut down and although Henry and I are a kilomtre or two away there has been loads of helicopters flying overhead taking all the ASEAN leaders away from the postponed ASEAN conference and a curfew has been declared. Lucky for us that we are staying at my brother's place and a little out of the way. Lets hope its resolved quickly and that the airport isnt closed like a couple of weeks ago.

Thailand here we come!

My son, Henry and I will be flying to Thailand tomorrow to stay with family, and although it will be a well deserved rest for both of us I will be doing a couple of portraits in Pattaya. I cannot wait!
We wont be away long, in fact I am back into it on the 21st with several portraits booked for when I get back I'll be all, rested and tanned ( but not too much!!)

Don't forget Mother's Day!! You can arrange a voucher via email which can be posted when I get back.

love, hugs and peace!!

:)

one more before I go.....

What a delight this wee bubba was, so snuggly and his spirited big brother was very gorgeous, too!

I've been shortlisted!!!

Got a call from one of the Head On Portraiture Competition organisers today that one of the images I submitted to the Australia wide competition has been shortlisted for the exhibition with the winner to be announced on the 30th April. I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!! There are 40 shortlisted artists/photographers from several thousand entries, so I am absolutely stoked. The image in question is of my dear friend Billy who recently died and although I am so proud of it I am unable to show it here at this time. Billy would be so proud of me too!
Love you Billy! xx
